My Review:

How can you not love a book that starts off with a bride walking down the road wearing a huge wedding dress and a hot cop/cowboy driving a refurbished Cadillac convertible, ready to help this damsel in distress?

This was a fun, humorous quick read that made me smile. At only 98 pages, this novella was just what I was looking for to fill a couple of hours on a dull Monday. Vivi is a wealthy runaway bride trying to get away from her not-so-nice fiance in Chicago when she meets up with Shade, a former Chicago cop heading to Texas to start a new job and to deliver this Cadillac to his grandmother. He tries so hard to be a gentleman and to not get involved with this beautiful hitchhiker, but when she decides she wants to be more than friends, he has a tough time staying clear of her.
