My Review:
Seaside Dreams is a delightfully heartwarming story about friendship, love and commitment. After being betrayed by her last boyfriend, Bella needed a fresh start with her life plan. Spending the summer with her dearest girlfriends in the cottages they vacationed at year after year growing up, seemed to be a good place to relocate. She needed to find herself and establish a new teaching program.
When Bella and her girlfriends, wearing little more than their underwear, decide to move a toilet seat to Theresa's driveway and then are interrupted by the love-making noises coming from Leanna's bedroom, the laughter and giggles explode. As they try to close the window, Bella's hair gets caught when the window slams shut. That's when the spotlight coming from Officer Caden Grant's police car shines on Bella's... um... backside.
Caden and Bella have an immediate connection that flourishes. Bella even becomes attached to Caden's teenage son, Evan. Conflicts occur and feelings are hurt, but there is a happily-ever-after.
Melissa Foster creates memorable characters who warm your heart and give you an occasional chuckle. This was a sweet romance with some added spice.
