Book Review - THAT MONTH IN TUSCANY by Inglath Cooper

Title:  That Month in Tuscany
Author:  Inglath Cooper
Genre:  Contemporary Romance
Publisher:  Fence Free Entertainment LLC
Release Date:  October 15, 2016

About the Book:

Bestselling, RITA  Award Winning author Inglath Cooper writes you the perfect excuse to put down the to do list and get lost in a trip to Tuscany with resigned-to-her-life housewife Lizzy Harper and burnt-out rock star Ren Sawyer. . .

If you had told me I would be heading off to Italy to celebrate my twenty-year anniversary without my workaholic husband, or that I would end up getting drunk on the plane ride over and falling on the lap of the rock star my daughter has a poster of hanging in her dorm room, I would have said oh, sure, right.

But, well, that is exactly what happened. And when we run into each other outside my hotel in Florence, and he asks if I would mind if he followed me around the Italian countryside for a while, what can I say? I can hardly believe it myself. I mean my own husband has barely noticed me for years. What on earth could I possibly have to offer Ren Sawyer?

The truth is I have no idea. But I'm pretty sure I want to find out.

My Review:

As I was getting ready for my own Anniversary trip to Italy, I thought this might be an interesting read. And it was. I loved the descriptions of the various places, the food and the people. And oh my! The story was quite entertaining! Not very believable, but extremely entertaining. That's what my book-escapes are all about. Escaping from reality for a bit and being entertained by the fantasy world of whatever book I'm reading.

I loved how Inglath Cooper brought these characters out to discover what was truly important in their lives and how Lizzie lived her life as a doormat, but managed eventually to pull that rug out from under her philandering husband!

Thank you Inglath Cooper for making me smile!

My Rating:

About the Author:
Inglath Cooper is a bestselling, RITA® Award-winning author of hard to put down books for lovers of contemporary romance and women's fiction.

"I first fell in love with reading as a little girl, devouring most of the books in my elementary school library. At some point, I decided I wanted to pursue a writing career, creating romance fiction that might do for others what my favorite books did for me. I love character-driven books that leave me feeling as if I've really known these people and make me wish I didn't have to turn the last page."

"Romance fiction has always appealed to me because it deals with so many of the relationships in a woman's life. Not only the love of her life, but often her relationship with her mother, sister or best friend. Romance authors have so much room to explore many of the meaningful moments and transitions in women's lives. And who doesn't love a good love story?"

When aspiring writers ask her how to be an author, she says, "Everything I know about writing books I learned from reading books."

Outside of writing, Inglath is actively involved in dog rescue, working with The Franklin County Humane Society to place dogs and cats in need of rehoming. She has volunteered her time in every capacity possible: serving on the Board of Directors, fundraising, photographing dogs and cats available for adoption and serving as a foster home. "Helping an abused or neglected dog go on to have a wonderful life with a family who loves them is more rewarding than I can possibly say."
