From the Back Cover: Consort has two stories in it.
The Bargain: As a Djinn, the most powerful race of genies, Nicodemus Marsh is sent in to deal with a fiery Janey Duvall after she refuses to help the exiled demon prince get rid of the problems in a business endeavor in the east. Oozing with sex appeal, Nicodemus begins a seduction Janey can barely resist. After a very erotic encounter, Janey finds out she’s bound to Nicodemus, and has three wishes to make. The bargain? Three wishes, and in return, she’s his sexual slave for one hundred years.
The Job: Janey Duvall, newly bound consort to the Djinn Nicodemus Marsh, is having a few minor problems with the delivery of a contract, namely, the assassin is refusing to finish the job. Knowing this is not normal behavior, she decides that going to Beijing, the city the hit is supposed to take place, is the best course of action. Marsh is intrigued by the idea, having a few of his own that involve Janey and an auction, and agrees to go, even calling in his marker from his most recent job of taming the fiery woman that became his consort to help with the investigation. When Marsh is faced with the task of transforming Janey for their investigation, will his glamour hold up to the scrutiny and allow them to prevail, or will he lose the one woman he could ever give his heart to?

My Review:
This was beyond "steamy"... it was Sizzlin' Hot! I do not often read erotica, but I recently met one of the authors, Stella Price, at a convention in Savannah and let's just say she's one of those authors you just can't forget. So when she offered me an audible version of one of her books in exchange for an honest review, I said "Hell yeah!" Now before I go on with my review, I have to tell you that most of the books I've encountered in this genre by other authors have little or no story line. Not the case with this one. There was ACTION.. and not just under the sheets. It had an interesting and twisted story that was wild to follow.
This was like two books in one. The first part of the book, The Bargain, is all about how Nicodemus Marsh (the Djinn) and Janey Duvall (the Assassin) got together. I'm not giving up any spoilers here, but it is an interesting bargain with three wishes! The second part of the book, The Job, goes into more detail of the assassination plot in Beijing.
The narrator in the audible version was good, but in the beginning of the book when I was trying to grasp what the heck was going on, she read a bit fast and I had a difficult time getting into the story. I did eventually get caught up though.
As for recommending this book, lets just say that if you are put off by vulgar language and graphic sex, this is not the book for you. But if you are open to anything wild...
*Disclaimer: I received a complimentary audible version of this book provided by the author with the sole purpose of an honest review. All thoughts, comments and ratings are my own.
